Since a youngster, I was drawn to photography and art. I saw in pictures (still do). Perhaps, this is why I imagined taking stills while cascading them with words I wrote- Poems. It's interesting that I am doing this as an adult- and you are my witnesses. So humbled to have your comments and likes- putting oneself out there can be daunting- but hey-

The nights are like wicked rain drops, who melt me into dust
I'm captured by a rain cloud who's engulfing me with lust
Oh come out tonight, or I'lll starve alone
Like a bloody fighter in a tarnished tone
Set in the patience, step inside
Bleed with me, put down your pride-
My heart is breaking it's you I desire
Come out with me, lets feed this fire
Don't let the rain sweep away this chance

@nixter Yep you have grown alright. Whoa! First poem to give me a feeling of, can I say this? carnal craving. Forgive the frankness maybe Its just me or I am but a man. A lot people write about love, longing, craving for a lovers embrace -- all of them are tame compared to yours. I do not have to tell you to write from the heart, This is the best poem about longing I have read by far. Very raw, very direct and shamelessly honest. Very real. I am resteeming this classic piece!
