UNGATHERED WELL

in poetry •  7 years ago

and now, I’m gathered again near by the moonlight
that slightly lights upon a stonemade well
filled up with tastes that I’d never heard of or even thought of
calling me silently, not yet entirely quiet
passing me secrets that my mind is trying to assemble without source
talking about curiosity, speaking of depth, insisting me to crawl throught out the grass
and sit by the water’s wavelenghts of this well
built by dryads and forest demons, wooden architectures hide behind us
I’m not alone
yet I haven’t really seen you, I’d picture (faery-succubus-soulful-creature) you
jumping around the night’s darken layers within the forest woods
a long haired beast, that can could’ve been hearing my soul from miles
stalking not me, but scent of the wish that stayed upon me
I knew, even while being afraid, I’d still thought of having knowlegde
that with armor and shields
you won’t be able to see me
and I wonder, could you help me?
because it’s not about being safe or being loved
that I’d been wishing for, in another soul
truth swiftly whispers that no one but me can take mindly shaped shackles off me
but I’d still wonder, fallen apart, that a fixed mind
having you, touching you, feeling you, knowing that it’s not only about me
that I’m not the only one that suffers with earthly diseases
can bring me closer to drink with you about the calm well’s water
