Just One Reason

I was alone locked in that dark room again.
Tied and spanked with my own bunch of true feelings,
My mind fed with confusion and heart with pain
While I was still holding on to the empty box of your promises.
Sparkling from distance but moulded in sharp red mud.
Now you come craving for the chemistry your maths failed to obey.
Baby you want a rainbow without some rain.
Give me just one reason
why I should ever trust again.
