WHAT IF TOMORROW CEASE TO COME? {AN ORIGINAL POETRY}

Yes it is true
That tomorrow never dies,
And goals will forever exist.
But what if the sun refuses to shine?
And tomorrow cease to come.

You do say with full confidence
"Don't worry, I will do it tomorrow"
But when tomorrow comes
You refresh your statement
And you postpone what you are supposed to have done to the next day again
Even without any hint of how the next day will be.

What if you sleep endlessly,
And you couldn't witness the next day?
What if the earth collapses,
And everything in it is nothing but lifeless elements?
What if you are caught in an accident
And you find it difficult to take another breath?
Then when will you achieve what you have been postponing?

Had it been there is life after death
I will advise you to keep procrastinating.
But since death is the end of every goal,
It is high time you left the lackadaisical attitude of procrastinating what you are supposed to do
And pursue every of your goal as if tomorrow will not come.
Because time flies beyond imagination
And procrastination is actively working to ensure it keeps you busy
Till death finally stops you from achieving what you are procrastinating.
