Temporal Joy

Her body bears the scars
Of countless hours nurturing life.

Her body holds secrets and mysteries
And the keys to my temporal joy.

With her body she has made my children,
With her body she had made me crazy.

Every dimple,
Every curve,
Every mole and freckle,
I count and hoard like a rich man's gold.

Her body is sweet like honey,
A rare treasure of nature.
I delight in its taste,
Its smell,
The softness and the warmth.

To look upon it is a feast for the eyes,
Yet I am never full.
