I am sorry.

Winter has ensnared me with its freezing touch.
I am trembling, lounging to go home.

I am drunk.
My skin is cold
But my heart is trembling

With unconscious affection
For the past times
Which have passed in a breeze.

I do wish things turned out better.
I do wish we could have done
more.

This blissful night
My thoughts go astray
Thinking about how peaceful
The past seems now.

Now I've got nothing to keep
Because
Every place I will ever go,
I'll take another place with me.

Love is love's reprieve.
