Probably from Papa's Beat Period.

You know I read every beat piece I could get my hands on! I re-read Kerouac and Burroughs on a regular basis.

Yeah, Kerouac was an influence on me too.

Man the first time I read Howl by Ginsberg I couldn't speak, think, or anything for several hours! I was like "Where has this been all my life and how come I can't write like this?!!?!!" lol

The flow their poetry hurt my head and inspired my soul simultaneously! Great memories.

Dharma Bums was the first book to make me think of meditation. Forty-eight years later has me with, what is fondly known as, my 5th level cast light spell.

That's the name used to explain my ability to see the candle flame with my eyes closed; without, even, a candle present. 😎
