"SUNRISE"

She walked
Onto the farm,
Just as the night
Moon crested the tree line.

Surrounded by nature,
Her thoughts,
Her camera.

She knew today
would be the day.
She would obtain
Her ultimate vision
of a sunrise.

For the weather,
perfect for beauty
To behold
Against the dark sky.

She climbed her stand,
Readied herself,
For God’s ultimate show.

Her thoughts, calm,
As the cool breeze
Rustled the trees.

She nodded off
Listening to the
Sound of the wind.

To early yet to
Catch the skies
Or orange and pink.

But when she woke,
Distinguished,
Across the field
Rose the beautiful sun.
