Scene from Autumn

in poetry •  7 years ago  (edited)

This work is a haiku. Ever since my introduction to haiku, I have grown a liking for them. They consist of two – five syllables and one 7 syllables lines, at least the form I like has this structure. It goes 5, 7 then 5. Here is my take on a scene from nature.  I hope you enjoy it.

Wind rakes fallen leaves

Mother fox enters burrow

Sun takes light away
