This is a throwback photo I took a few days to October 1st, 2018 to mark my country's independence. You can see the green and little white background signifying green white green
So today going through my photo gallery I decided to write poetry using this photo.
Her skin is soft
Her hair is dark showing her melanin
Her lips are cute
Her eyes are pure
Her eyeball tells it to her
Her broad nose shows it
She is brown skin
A typical African girl-child
Embracing her roots
A negro she is called
And she is
But beyond what the physical eyes
Lyes a beauty
A heart that's soft yet strong
A mind fighting
A spirit not wanting to give up
A gentle soul with love
So curse her not
Bless her
She got big dreams
Help or to achieve them
Or rather not
But don't be a villain to her dream
Or her African spirit will come hunting
Hunting you to the ground.
