Micellar World

head-2709732_1280 (1) copy (1).jpg

douse your sceptre
with the font of notions
expand and breathe

                       life into ideas

don’t blow too hard
the meniscus will tear
creation is durable
but vulnerable
at inception

energetic glycerin
finds the balance
between polarity
and lack

without resistance
your effervescent crown
will be a worlds-traveller

thought bubbles
come together
colloidal collisions
create the unintended

                          happy accidents

microscopic
on the cosmic level

watch sharp edges
don’t hold on too tight
with attachment
prodding and pressure
mirrored vesicles
blister and explode

pop, pop, pop

what could have been
now the filmy remains of it
so painful
wring your hands
too long
slippery to gritty
a cleanse
becomes a sanding

go gently and allow
a bubble to be a bubble
revel at each iridescent globe
before rushing to wave your wand
and spell some more

between breaths
marvel at your micellar world

Nice poem @prydefoltz :)

Thank you, Brokeman:)

Oh, the way you make those words move.

Upped and Steemed

Tip!

So glad you liked. Thank you, Denise:)

Oh, oh ... I feel a force in this poem. Distillery discovery, mask removal, cracking of soul mirrors. I loved that onomatopoeia: pop, pop, pop, that's how the poem feels, throbbing in that sound. Good, dear Pryde.

Thank you, zeleira. For this super wonderful interpretation:)

Did you pop your meniscus? Inspiration is rooted in the common place :)

There is always another one forming:)

I love your long poem 💕 filled with living emotions

Thank you, May:)

so beautiful, your way with words, how you play with them and create such wonder and awe in me xx

Thank you, TLF:)

wow, a mind blowing poem. the first time i heard about micelle was in our biochemistry and this turn out to be a scientific poem.

really love it

Thank you, riahdex. I was always torn between the sciences and the arts. I took a fair bit of science class bakc in uni and so know and then it sneaks in:)

I love how behind it all its really just a poem about blowing bubbles, but then you breathe all this complexity and significance into it! Lots of great lines I could quote back at you but generally speaking, the snippets of scientific language were what made it for me - it really reflects how you are observing and deconstructing this simple act.

So glad you enjoyed, Lazarus:)

OH MY GOODNESS..Did you take me to a place so surreal where artist dream and create marvelous things, did you take there? Yes you did. I love it. I am bowing, @prydefolz.

Thank you, rensoul:) You sweet talker:)

Hello prydefoltz, the poem reminds me when I was a child and hid from the blisters. I had a terrible fear of the puncture and I still have it

Oh ... that is too bad. I am the opposite. When I get a blister, I can't wait to pop it.
