able, bright, and precocious
your radiance
rejuvenates the heart
keeps you perpetually youthful
to my ever-aging eye

you are not the child
you once were
but he persists within you
safe in your strengthening embrace
adored in the energetic realm
          of my more fearless self
in the memory of the Ageless

apprehension ... depression ... suffering

incoherent fevers
                    toxic vapours

acerbic and pungent
ulcerate the psyche
obscure connection
prevent me from finding you

You are always greater than I think you are

my judgment is too narrow
to contain your beauty
it escapes me sometimes
forgive me my small, scarred grip
I struggle so to clear space

I surrender ... no more thinking ... find liberation

love scents the mind with balm
the stars dissolve the void
share their light

you are always there, always were

comfort, soothe
not a word
no more utterances

well perhaps ... just one more

you are as old as the universe
but remain my perfect boy
