Ravensong - Ups and Downs

Ravensong is my solo project. You can find my last single here www.ravensongofficial.com . I am releasing 'Ups and Downs' in September/October. It is a small concept e.p that relates to the truth of people in growth, using the ups and downs of a couple in and out of love as the vehicle- They meet, they fall in love, there is expectation and ownership, they break up and life moves on, their union disolved due to their beliefs and inability to care for one and other without holding each other to ransom, as it were.
That may seem rather negative, however at certain stages in life I feel we are all of us both of the characters and perhaps, though they are 'imperfect/ child like', they are also human and on their life journey- Learning as they go. It is the hope of all writers/musicians to touch the heart of a reader/listener. To that end, life experience is the great ally of any artist, without judgement but recognition.

The first song is called 'Systems Govern Rational' and speaks of the first love. The pining love. The I could, would and will never live without you love. Here is the poetry

If falling is only the half way,

Devotion is so critical
