Loneliness in Prosperity

We labor with all our might
In chasing prosperity
But i just wonder 'bout something
Do these things help thee?

We work to have money
Spend it all and be merry
But after all the delights
Does it bring joy to thee?

Many are men in wealth
Yet inside them is loneliness
They can command what they wish
But the loneliness still don't perish

For physical we provide
For worldly thrills and its pleasure
Our end is very uncertain
Yet our soul is dying in hunger

As a Christian apologist shares
And it is worthy to recall
That ultimate loneliness is not of the body
But of the soul

This is beautiful. Happiness is not determined by how wealthy someone is; it all weighs down on your heart, mind, and soul. 👍

Yep. Indeed, ultimate loneliness is not of the body, but of the soul. Thanks for appreciating. ☺
