The sacredness of life for you and me

I have heard news about the recent bombings on Syria. It took many lives and it feels so bad. Imagine yourself being a child when the bombing took place. What would you feel?

I wrote this poem not only to those who are affected and guilty of what had happened. But also in us. We have this cravings in our heart that everyday we deal with. A tendency to get what we desire without regarding to the freedom and sacredness of others. We greatly need to love one another, just as Christ loved us. (1 John 4:19)

Bombs went off, it shakes the ground
The blast destoys all that surrounds
Debris then falls and that's the case
Now imagine a child in that place

The trauma that is caused by the tremor
The panic that is caused by the terror
The hate that is caused by the strife
But how painful to know one is deprived of life

What power do you need? Oh prideful man!
What riches do you want according to your plan?
What are the things that you're fighting for?
That you destroy people with hearts not getting sore

What games do you need for others to play?
What business do you seek for others to pay?
What doctrines do you stand that you can't see
The sacredness of life for you and me?

We are born with nothing we depart likewise
So let's show unconditional love as long as we rise
No land can give contentment for a heart that crave
We're all gonna die and six feet is fair for our grave

Soli Deo Gloria

Life is too precious to be taken by the greed terrorists😣.. Let's s just pray for the safety of the people in Syria..

Unless we have a glorified body and a glorified mind we will be seeking to exalt ourselves for our own gain, garnering treasures in this world as if there is. Yet in our self-exaltation we forget that we have been rebelling against an Almighty God, with whom in Him has the capacity to give us more than enough.

A very, emotional poem... Prayers for Syria!

Thanks pre😊
