Hello Steemians! Advanced Happy Hearts's Day!
Just a few minutes, somebody sent me this poem whom he composed, so I told him I liked it and asked to share it here.
Remembering this picture two years ago during our JS prom with my Grade 9 students, for a chance to have this pose.

I sit here on Valentine’s eve
My mind does wonder where you are
Loves elusive tender tap
Which seems to have lost its way.
Cynical thought ponders still
On chocolate hearts and other thrills
Of cards in blue or pink
Corporate words that depict.
Undying love for him or her
With meals a fancy in or out
Business encourages the peace
As we allow our pockets fleeced.
Yet surely I believe in love
Of course otherwise despair
Compassion fills an empty heart
Where once before was barren and bare.
Love for life and morning dew
For caterpillars who dream to fly
Cats, dogs, children’s smiles
Will shed tears easily from my eye.
