Letting Go (A Poem)

Binded, chained—
a past that I must
let go.
So much of life
that I missed
by living
for the past—
I was too rash.

The world has
so much to offer.
Life must revolve
not for the past.
I grieved—
that's a fact.
But all wounds
will someday heal.

So time to let go—
really it's long
overdue.
The pain will
all go away,
so look forward
to the future,
Just look a the sun—
it rises and falls
