A Poem - I'll be your downward trend

in poetry •  7 years ago

I'll be your downward trend
That thing that makes the limp hands bend
A blood red soaked joke
Watching crabs in the barrel pull each other down
Dreams to nightmares of hitting the ground
It goes round and round
Some people look away
Others are here to stay
Watch carefully
Chasing the return

I'll be your downward trend
That thing that makes the limp hands bend
Your profit making machine
Turning other people's nightmares to dreams
Those low prices make the traders dance and sing
As they buy their cheap tickets to the moon
Mid august to september more rockets launching soon
200 billion market cap by the end of the year?
Doubt, uncertainty, and fear
Watch carefully
Chasing the return
