[POEM] Summer Rain

In day's early morning light
and summer rain does fall.
Where silence plays it's tune
to calls of collared doves,
and city rumble is yet at distance.
One sits and misses the night,
in comfort of restful solitude.
Where day's symphonies does,
not mask the mighty sound.
of this space made empty,
as you are no longer there.

Good poem. I love rain in summer.

Thanks!

Beautiful. I love the different contrasts you worked into the lines, alternating yet still moving us forward :)

Thanks Mike!

My pleasure :)
