Covered tree
With spirit, blithe
A truth to see
Between the light
It pours over you
Like a dappled hound
The speckles flew
Over the sand
The light has poured
Through the branches
And down around
Poured over mansions

Sands left truth in the hourglass
Where there was a mountain before
Digging to find them, once a week
Never felt so lasting or boring before
But now, over time,
It has become tedious to do the searching...

Not enough to decide
Not enough time
Not enough time to decide
Not long for the end
The end is near
Not long until it ends
The writing in this book
Is not long for this world
I want to write
But not for long
Not for too long
Not far away
Not far too long
Before I'm far away
And not too far
To far away to call
For today is not at all

To write the life of
Oh, another one, but
Of course you want more
More life to live to write
To know, to live, to write
To write of knowing
Knowing of the plight
The plight to write
A day in a life
Of one who writes
Is but trite, alight
With monstrous trolls
Who want more life
And so they write
Without accusation
Oh to write, to write

Watch a rainbow
Watch a slide
And landslides of color
Pour over the sides
To watch a rainbow
With 5 other guys
Is like asking the
Sky to cry 5 times
Such beauty and light
If only to cry, I'd light
The next rainbow up
With fancy fine skies
And talk of optimism
And gouda, and pies
I'd talk of rainbows
Apple slices, and painted thighs...
Just cry and watch a rainbow
