I wore the jacket

You bought me,

Back when I was

Your everything.

I’m not sure if

I needed warmth

From the cold,

Or your warmth.

I was expecting to see some sort of continuation but the poetic stream of words stopped.

I have not seen this kind of poetry before, what classification does it belong to?

It’s a free verse poem. It doesn’t follow the rules, and neither does it have rhyme or rhythm. And lately I’ve been writing concise poems.
