The Dharma Bums Blues #1

in poetry •  7 years ago  (edited)

Dharma Bums by Jack Kerouac is a book that changed my life, it was like a bolt of lightening that hit me straight in the spinal cord and all of sudden I glimpsed the golden eternity, just for a brief moment I understand IT, the big IT, the IT to end all ITS, and as I closed the pages of the book. It all faded away...

Enjoy this spoken word, blues beat video I made.

“Down on the lake rosy reflections of celestial vapor appeared, and I said, "God, I love you" and looked to the sky and really meant it. "I have fallen in love with you, God. Take care of us all, one way or the other." To the children and the innocent it's all the same.”
