He bumps into you and apologises profusely
You walk away
Mopping at the spilled coffee on your coat

You stop at a newspaper stand
Reach for your wallet
Of course, its gone

You don't grimace
Nor scowl
But smile and walk away

It's late now
The bar is getting quiet
He staggers into the toilet,

Drunk on your money he still remembers who you are
How did you find me?
A poor epitaph for anyone

To be calm even when something hurts is something only a few can understand. Interesting words.
