Oh daughters of mother earth,
O! sons of Adam;
Listen to my tale of woe:
The agents of darkness,
With ungodly eyes they kill my soul
And to oblivion I now languish
My mother stilled in death!

My mother stilled in death!
Whom shall I tell?
Where shall I go from here?
Friends have I not,
Enemies laugh in scorn at my demise
God, are you indeed my God?
Wickedness abound in your plane
As to oblivion I’m branded;

Death, the feast of eternity
The unfathomable warrior,
The champion of mortals.
Your chariots of tongues of fire
Roar above like thunders;
And to earth the havoc wreaked.
As we lie in your mercy
To oblivion I now remain
As my mother is stilled in death!
