What has social media done to our words?

Modern.

Fat lips unpeel,
Scraped red mouthfuls of letters,
Screw open the freakish neck of language,
Laboured voices dead,
Devoid,
Create marble-heavy pig-grunts,
Obscene Gods,
Melted faces,
Tongue, eyes, ears, slick and ghastly glued,
Prayers littered dredge Woman and Man to pure great love,
Undeserving,
Old skulls fathered words,
Time has destroyed most,
Tired nights haul words for slaughter,
Let them be half or less of what they were,
Gruesome massacres by mouths and minds,
Destroying what is not theirs,
No longer are they sacred,
Once evolved past pictures,
Humans now reverting,
What life?
Brittle bones of ancestry,
Dried blue blood,
Cracking, breaking, destroyed.
