POEM: Solitude

in poetry •  7 years ago

Solitude beams more brightly
Yesterday it was a creeping dark horror
With fangs that clawed from the inside
Today it is a desolate waste land
Harnessed into a castle of isolation
The action drew me and I dwelled in
peace of mind.
