The Wondering Wanderer

Like a nearby tree at the centre of a village square
Every leaves seem to be busy
Busy doing a thing or another

Busy! Busy without noticing if any has fallen
Busy without caring f a fruit is plucked
Busy without noticing the rotten wandering fruits

But I wonder what will become of the innocent tree
After this illusion of the busy leaves

This is a wake-up call to all Nigerians as regards the lingering security issue in the country. Everybody seems not perturbed or disturbed by the killings in the Benue state, the perpetual dispute in Delta and Rivers states, and the insecurity everywhere.

Our docile approach to issues has cost us alot. It was Bokoharam in Borno state before, and now Benue and the rest. Who knows the next destination?

Don't wait for the knock on your door. Let's shun violence and embrace peace.
