The red bean
The red bean grows in southern land.
How flourished in spring it is
Gather them till full in your hands.
Cause it is yearning between lovers.

Long long ago there was a couple. The husband went to the battleground and never came back. The wife missed him so much ,she tore everyday against the tree in front of the door. Till oneday, her blood flowed out of her eyes instead of tear .Her blood fell on the root of the tree. Severl days later the tree bore a lot of red beans. Everyone said that those beans were yearning of the wife to her lover.
Wang Wei: Chinese poet in Tang Dynasty ,born in 701 A.D. .He wrote this poem to miss his friend.And now we always read it as a love poem to express our missing between lovers.
