Desire for Talent

Observing a display of practice and skill
Of watching a pro there is a certain thrill
Be it athletics or the arts
Or just plain smarts
There is a want for an ability
To be part of a sort of nobility
The talented guy I want to be
One everyone wants to see
Perform their skill or act
Their expertise a fact
From walking across the tight rope
To giving a speech that fills people with hope
The desire to obtain an identity
Makes that talent their entity
Truly what is the main thing
Is not whether you could dance or sing
But your character's quality
It is far from an equality

For only one is completely you and honest*
