I Often Find Myself Digging Down When Trying To Climbspeaktheunspoken (54) in poetry • 7 years ago Is it my fault why I see world like I do? Is it my fault for watching my dreams fall through? I don't expect anything to better My passion for life is like the British weather Grey and murky with occasional flashes of light The only flash I want to see is the bullet flying towards my sight Does death scare me... I simply can't tell I was told to cherish life, though their words are just spells Daredevil at heart... I was never afraid at the start Fear is imbedded in the mind from the role models in your life Gently moulded into the character you become I was taught to listen... Now I listen much... poetry lyrics words poem life
