Closer (originally composed 6th March,2018)

I see you.
Do you see me?

Come to the water and I will swim for you,
Come to the field and I will lie with you.
Come to the fires and feel my love burning,
Come to the window and peer down at the world below.

Come to the places where people sing,
Come to the places where blind can feel.
Come to the darkest depths and peer into the abyss,
Come to the paths of where nightmares are born.

Come to the man with the voice of the gods,
Come to the woman whose touch is like silk.
Come to the children who are yet to be born,
Come to the lives you could have been.

Come to the challenges that are everywhere,
Come to the defenses that sheild you from sight.
Come to the winding roads and junctions,
Come from deathly perils to embrace your life.

We can move in all directions and still stagnate into one,
We can speak in many different tongues but sense with only one.
We can deliver ourselves to excellence if only our hearts were free,
We can turn dreams into reality if we did what we believed.

So come closer.
And leap.
