"Make Up Your Mind" [Original Poem]

This was written in the Summer of 1992 and is one of several notebooks worth - a Steemit.com Original, never published or seen by anyone.

Make Up Your Mind

To Love or Hate?
It's not too late.
Come on, make up your mind
It's not so hard, you'll find.

The sun is rising, the Moon is setting.
Ah! It's time you seem to be forgetting.
Time is like a tree, ever growing.
People are like the wind, never knowing.
So search way down, deep inside
for the emotion you hide.
If you find you can not let go
then love you will never get to know.

My arms can keep you from the cold,
or my back can make you feel old.
So come on, take a step,
the one you won't regret.
It's either or, you have a choice.
Listen to your heart, hear my voice.

Ares, Aphrodite and Eros

Fear is your only wall
So Listen to Eros' call.
Is it the feeling of Ares that reigns?
His blood that courses through your flowing veins.
Do not let doubt be a cloud to your vision,
But instead let wisdom guide your decision.
To have one is to lack the other fate;
You can only have one: To Love or Hate

Superb poem and photo representation, great job @streetstyle!

Thanks @cynetyc I wrote this 20yrs ago. And yeah, I do have to "feel" that the image conveys that "feeling" or vibe of the words, so yeah it can take time to find image labeled for re-use, then to size it and then format it and give credit. So really appreciate that you noticed and took the time to mention it.
