Tiny Bean

The ground is just right in this park tonight
Not a sunray to be seen

I feel the hormones rise they pressure me inside
Cannot keep them in even if I tried

Be the green bean that you were meant to be

Now I can grow!

It’s funny how some auxin makes everything get tall
And the shell that once compressed me is no longer a wall
It’s time to see where I can go
Is out there summer is there snow
Go left, go right, where am I now
I grow!

I do look for the wind and sky

I’ll never stop to try
Here I push and here I swell
Produce ethylene.

My leaves are forming now the color is so green
I can taste water here it is not really clean
And one stone blocks the way I have to go around
It will not make me stop, I will now leave the ground!
