"just try to stay positive"
finally seeing that's the way to live
been looking so long on the world
as a negative reflection of my mind
ive got to find the strength
to believe, perceive
heaven's all around me
the plans set
and i must proceed
no matter what i do
or what i get
from this point forward
it's all net
every shot's gonna be a goal
every bill's gonna be tenfold
increased
ive found peace
and a power within
im opening eyes everyday
and greeting with a grin
i used to sin
i ain't going to apologize
i never once have ever tried to hide
my downfaults or past mistakes with lies
but the future is now
and im raising the stakes
gonna only increase peace
love understanding and respect
in my interaction with others
gonna keep the wreck in check
cause for too many lifetimes
ive been destroyin
been living for myself like a wildboy
in a concrete jungle
ive got my head high now
and i aint gonna stumble or backtrack
or get carried away
overreaction has been my trademark...
