Intimate - a original poem

INTIMATE


closer, he gets to a wonder...

doubting, he broke to a stop..

louder, the drum and his heart had sounded..

frowning, he sat by the door..

smiling, she stood by the window..

faster, her steps seemed to go...

running, they came to each other..

careless, her touch nearly burned..

aching, he held her so tightly...

falling, they waited no more.
