Mengapa engkau bawa padaku

Moncong bayonet dan sangkur terhunus
Padahal aku hanya ingin merdeka
Dan membiarkan Nyiur-nyiur derita
Musnah di tepian langit

Karena kau memaksaku

Bertahan atau mati
Dengan mengirim ratusan Bom
Yang engkau ledakkan di kepalaku
Aku terpaksa membela diri

Pesawat militermu jatuh

Di tusuk bambu runcingku
Semangat perdukaanmu runtuh
Kandas di Batu-batu cadas
Kota Surabaya yang panas
