the will

in poetry •  7 years ago  (edited)

begging for scraps

the bird man
sits quietly on the dock .

flew in the cuckoos nest,
Dave is a weird fellow,

but so is the crayon-daddy.

god is in between the lines.

god is in the figurative-juxtaposition of the lollypop dandruff. and so daddy-Dave went in for the kill--

I buried half of his leg--

the will went to the late
daughter.

I still feel bad
