Breathless

As I sink the darkness deepens around me pressing in on my lungs I am passing for without the breathe of life I am nothing without the spark once in my eye I am floundering without purchase I descend into the deep dark waters of my soul and I know I can never get it back once was I so strong the stars were one step away
