SOMETIMES (Part Two)

Sometimes the sun rises in her.

When she wakes up the morning after.

                      She dresses in bright yellow.

Even if the weather outside bellows.

                              She feels magnificent.

Like the night before was pretty ancient.

She's high on some playing music.

Operating like she's on a picnic.

                       Somewhere serene.

                       Eating something green.

Her glass still sits next to her lamp stand.

As she absentmindedly reaches for her wristband.

She turns to her pillows for a while.

Brushes one's cold surface and smiles.

Such nights have moulded her resilience.

                  Made her who she is.

Her demons can't stand such teasing.

         They whisper through broken voices.

Try to seduce her fears and wrong choices.

                              But... Nothing.

They rush back to hide in the shadows.

Only to find their waiting gallows.

Her soul aligning with her mind.

                    Her flaws become her guide.

                               Life long compass.

               For storms remain unpredictable.

And the society is still unreliable.

                   She can count on herself.

                             Sometimes.
