I have taken a lover
I have loved another
All my deepest secrets,
with him I’ve shared
And much more than that,
we have shared a bed

His hands have been
Where yours never were
His lips have kissed
and pulled and teased
His words still echo in my ears
How precious I am, how loved,
how cherished

Call me a cheat, a liar, a witch
And I won’t deny I enjoyed
Every sinful bit of it
But the thought of losing you is unbearable
And though I sound selfish,
I hope you’ll still find me lovable
