Falling Tears

One drop for sadness
Another for an empty soul
The next is unforgiveness
And still many to fall...

Salty streams rolling down my knees
Inner earthquakes ripping me apart
My happiness has seized
Eager to take body and heart apart

Who can catch these tears of mine
Who will stop them from falling
Is there a true love so devine
A reason to awake in the morning

A tortured sould pleading to be free
I may be unwilling for trust
Just need someone beside me
Please just not too fast

Again I am not a poet, but I enjoyed trying. Sometimes it's not whether or not you make make it, it is the journey and enjoying it. Today I can stand back and look at what I have written as a silly schoolgirl and it can make feel nostalgic...
