Suddenly

Suddenly, even the most obtuse poem lights up my soul
Like kisses blown on flowers
The fragrance of lillies takes me to places I could never have imagined going to
Suddenly, there's this rush of adrenaline.
Oh, the ecstasy.
Now I feel I own the world
For indeed the world is what she is to me
Surly, she's the object of my affections.
God's essence. Now my life will never remain the same.
Suddenly every second counts
Ticking in a milipede speed
Teary-eyed and pulses racing
I find common peace in an uncommon place
Suddenly even the sun bows in awe
Of what we have beautifully built
All within the blink of an eye
Climbing on clouds so high
Never again to touch the ground
Suddenly, I feel fulfilled.
But you must tread carefully, for she is the glory of a morning flower
And a spider who feeds on her offspring
Suddenly, you become a slave to your grave.
You can't get out, you cannot quit .old-letter-clipart-pen-and-ink-17.jpg
