Missing Her....

in poetry •  7 years ago  (edited)

Every time I smell a rain,
I wish she was with me.
Blushing at my naughtiness,
Walking by the sea.

Wins and glories feel so bland
Without her by my side.
I wish she could just hold my hand,
That sure would ease my ride.

Every time she called my name,
It would sound like a chime.
Thoughts so honest off her mind
Would dissolve me in time.

When I learn she is in pain,
I cant just let her be.
Neither can I hug her tight,
Nor sit back and see.

I can face a million darts,
If that can win her smile.
Losing myself in the cause,
Is just an extra mile.

Matters not, who was at fault,
I will bear the rack.
I can bleed a billion sorries
If she can come back.

I can bleed a billion sorries
If she can come back.
