When you say I don't

in poetry •  7 years ago

Burning like a firefly in starry needle night
on your wild shoulders I hovered.
Wistful wind then blew,
black bushes gave way to sight
neck cave got lit by my warm, solacing, incandescent light.

Slurping like a warm brook slipping through squishy meek moss
I slid on soft servile slopes,
you shivered while being showered.
Bridge prodded in forgotten times, stood solemn across,
puddle mirrors splashed and wiggled,
how I swam towards no pause.

He loves ! he loves ! he loves
will sing the stars, those woods, brook too
if not then what shall I say, I bid you all adieu.
