     CELL

"Eyez seez youz" on the other side
Listening beyond the brink of suicide
Phone booth broke
Blank stare black
tough
tight
room colored like a tic tac
The space surrounds vivid 'scapes
shapes
fade among the color grey.
Blended together "...must one stay?" you say.
Prison break, bleak,blind by time
blinded by - goodbyes.
Light beam beyond the bars
walls covered by memories and scars.
Stars.
We all once used to be, famous for just one
" Can you hold one second?"
