The mask keeper

in poetry •  7 years ago

I have noticed a massive influx in peoples moods. Mine included. To those feeling broken beaten and abused you are not alone. Diamonds only glimmer when cut and torn apart stars only shine because atoms are being torn asunder. You are not alone in your struggle.

Anxiety grows within my chest and a fake smile that iner me detests. This mask I wear for the world to see is a fake reflection of the inner me. The wisest inherently posses sadness as they see the world for it's madness. And sometimes I detest who I've became I've tried to change but remain the same.

Im tired of wearing a mask so are you. Yall are loved people remember that.
