Which "THING"
Is SOLID?
Which "THING"
Is UNTHROWN?
What DIFFERENCE
Truly EXISTS
BETWEEN
The WATER
And
The STONE?

Actually quite a profound question you ask in your poem. Things you can touch right now, are solid in the moment. One can take joy from everything around you, everything you see or touch, your emotions you experience in the moment. Ultimately, however, everything turns to dust. But if you live in every moment of your life, the memories stored in your heart - ah, they are the things that really matter.

The photo is so fitting with your words. I thoroughly enjoyed this: it woke my mind up this morning. I have visited some of your other posts, and I have decided that you are someone to be followed!

Hi @minnaloushe! Thanks for the genuine kind words. I'm glad you enjoyed this piece and followed. Today is an ESPECIALLY difficult day - just look at what is happening around the world - and so ANY positivity is welcome right now. Good luck.

You're so nice for commenting on this post. For that, I gave you a vote! I just ask for a Follow in return!

Solid and unthrown things are, for example, family photo albums, old vinyl records, or teddy bears from our childhood. Cheers! : )

only infinite space...for you can half it for ages and never truly touch

Solid but the power of the water will grind the stone into rubble.
