Beautiful Creatures

Beautiful Creatures

my soul unshrivelled
expanding a haven
for
beautiful creatures
and by them I too beautiful
somehow
(from crippling hideousness
if ever you can believe)
to nurture
sweet little
secret things
mine not for
a single Winter
(long be Life)

tender mercies
in the water
I'm not one
to yearn in whispers
Folding my hands
in gratitude
a perfect calm,
magnificent silence
some thing to me: sacred
Some
thing
treasured
above:
All

beautiful creatures
roaming wild
in the burst
of my heartcore

like a bud
in bloom
eternal

(You
were
dreamt
of
long
ago)
