Silence

in poetry •  7 years ago

I sit alone just watching
Someone watching me
Sitting here in silence
Neither of us speak

I wonder if she noticed
She wonders if I do
Alone I sit, just waiting
Alone, she sits there too

For awkward years
As moments go
The moments
We can't keep

They flash by
As seconds count
But drag on
For eternity

Grasp in hand
moments to seize
Forever passes by
Lost opportunities

Guilt ridden strange
She wonders away
Today is lost, tomorrow
Too far away

Lost in perception
Mind boggling fear
Fear makes me angry
Not knowing transends scared

Unfinished
As always
Everything, nothing
Held dear.
