Hymn of the Virgin Soul

in poetry •  7 years ago

Baptize me in the blood sea of raw matter
Partake I in the flesh of my Father
Forsake my inheritance and don the holey pauper's rags
For I shall weave a luminous starry garment of my own making
to adorn this chariot of mine
Forward not unto an end,
but an infinite beginning
My journey is my destination
I wander so I may return

Deep into the darkest depths of Hell I travel
so that I may see that the Divine Sun shines
even within the recesses of Hades' abode

Breaker of Chains,
I shall loose the Titans of Tartarus upon Olympus herself
and topple the cloudy veil separating the Earth from the Heavens
Great Apocalypsos I am thy Leg and Herald
And upon the seventh day,
I too shall rest in my in-finite Being
singing silently reverent hymns of worship
in joyous praise of the Almighty Unnamed Namer
